Sexual Health for Adolescents Rooted in Equity
(SHARE)
SHARE provides accessible sex education and relationship-building skills. This program is tailored to LGBTQIA+ youth, BIPOC communities,
and individuals residing in rural areas across Michigan.
Our mission is to address and challenge sexual health disparities among youth in the identified SHARE communities. Program outcomes include fostering an inclusive environment where youth
can gain sexual health knowledge, learn to advocate for their healthcare in medical settings, and feel empowered to make
well-informed decisions about their sexual health.
The SHARE program uses two evidence-based curricula,
IN-clued and LiFT, to ensure these positive outcomes. Read more about each curriculum below!
This program is supported by the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $1,972,000 for this fiscal year with 100 percent funded by OPA/OASH/HHS.
