10th Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser!

You are cordially invited to join us for MOASH’s 10th anniversary celebration fundraiser!  We’re toasting to 10 years of supporting adolescent sexual health in Michigan, and we hope you can join us for an evening of catered food, delicious beverages, entertainment, giveaways, and a few surprises!  Details below:

  • Date and time: Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 7-9 pm
  • Location: Cobblestone Farm Barn, 2781 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108
  • Parking: There is ample free parking onsite.

Thanks to the people, programs, and passion behind MOASH, here’s a list of our top 10 changes and advancements in Michigan during our first 10 years:

  1. The development of the Michigan Youth Voice (MY Voice) youth advisory council
  2. New statewide awareness days like Michigan Youth Consent Day (MY Consent Day) and Michigan Youth Parenting Awareness Day (MYPAD)
  3. An expanded network of GSA clubs through the Building a Movement for Michigan Gender and Sexuality Alliances (BAMM GSAs) program
  4. Strengthened partnerships with community, state, and national health organizations
  5. New advocacy efforts, including the Adolescent Sexual Health Legislative Report Card and seven MOASH Policy Positions
  6. A multitude of new programs (STEP, MY Girls Say, etc.) and coalitions, including the Michigan Coalition on Adolescent Sexual Health (MiCASH)
  7. A strong social media impact and communications network through our e-publications
  8. New training efforts for students, teachers, administrators, community members, health providers, and other professionals
  9. Innovative educational resources like the LGBTQ+ Inclusivity Toolkit, the Youth Equity Assessment Tool (YEAT), and numerous infographics
  10. Our legacy of amazing, dedicated MOASH Board members, staff, and interns
